Incorrect Accidental for Tenor Clef (French 20th Century)
I am transcribing older music for Cello. This music uses French 20th century Clefs. Using Alto clef with Key G Major (1 #) the accidental is placed on the top row of the stave (instead of in space between top and second lines).
I attach page (15) of original score, as well as my transcription of this section (page 2 for the same as original).
I have not check to see if the same issue applies to other Key signatures for the Alto clef.
Regards,
Noel

Tenor clef in title, alto clef in body...
Which are you using and what happens when using the other?

I am transcribing the photocopied music (page "15" at top) into a new MuseScore document (Sonata III). Problem shows up in the last treble line of the 2nd page of "Sonata III". Sharp accidental in MuseScore Key signature on last lines (for Alto clef) should be one note lower than it appears.

Please ignore the above. I mistakenly used the similar-looking version of the treble clef instead of the alto clef. All is solved!

Looks like you used the 19yh Century C clef instead of the alto clef. Had you posted the mscz file instead of a PDF, someone could show you.

Thanks. When looking hard at the clef, I saw that it was slightly different from the other Alto clef. I'll know for next time. These alternate clefs are new to me.
