MuseScore Keypad

I have been waiting for ages for the MuseScore team to start selling a MuseScore keypad – this could help finance the main project in the same way that the MuseScore Android app does. Basically it is a numeric keypad with the buttons laid out in a line and with note-length legends (semi-quaver, quaver, crotchet, minim semibreve etc.) instead of numbers.

This would allow me to use my MIDI keyboard to enter notes into MuseScore with my right hand, while using my left hand on the MuseScore keypad to select note lengths and rests.

Yes, I can redefine the low notes on my MIDI keyboard to do this, but the disadvantages are:
- The MIDI keyboard does not have note-length markings.
- I lose the low-end notes on the MIDI keyboard.

Well, it hasn’t happened yet, so to push things along, I designed a prototype. Literally a plugin!
All the details are in the PDF file below.

I'm not sure if MuseScore's default keyboard shortcuts are the same for every country, or if the country settings for your normal keyboard has any practical effect, so you may need to adjust things for a non-UK country.
