I just downloaded 3.6.1, and when opening old scores (both 3.x and before), the dialog for applying new styles is completely not accessible. The tab key gives nothing readable. I can't apply any changes. I can only press alt+F4 to directly go into the score or press space to activate a control probably for keep old styles, I don't know. It's strange that this simple dialog becomes not accessible!

There seems to be more to this than meets the eye. For me on Linux, there is no change since 3.6.0 - the dialog doesn't read anything meaningful when it first opens (sometimes it says just the score name, other times it reads "start center"), but Tab moves through the dialog one element at a time and I can check and uncheck dialogs, work the buttons etc. On WIndows, however, Tab does not do this in 3.6.1, at least not with NVDA.

In any case, Esc should close the dialog, it does for me on both Windows and Linux. So that beats Alt+F4.

@hhpmusic to me the behavior even in 3.6.0 is not ideal - having to hit tab just to hear basic information read one element at a time. And yet we have other dialogs - like Format / Style - that read the entire contents of the dialog all at once, which is equally bad. For MuseScore 4 we are going to need to revisit all this anyhow because so much of the interface is being rewritten. It would good to have a good design model to tell us how much information really should be read when a dialog opens. I am constantly surprised to find how hard it ends up being to make things like this work!
