From where it comes the percussion?
I composed a very little doublebass phrase. The sound of the doublebass in pizzicato is very different from others previouas Muscore versions.
Whe I started to play this little phrase it appears a percussion instrument. Why?
Thanks, João

Given the difference in pitch, the contrabass sounds quite similar to the violin in pizzicato. Both sound vaguely "percussive", especially in comparison to the normal sound.

There is no difference in pitch. As I wrote before, in previous muscore version the sound was good enough. Thanks anyway.

Please post a small score that does this.

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear. I'm saying that pizzicato inherently sounds somewhat percussive, on any of the strings. I hear no difference between pizz. from previous versions and in the current version.

I put an attachement on my first post but it there is again

Sounds like a double bass being played pizzicato to me ... which sound is a little percussive. I definitely don't hear any kind of drum there.
(And while you may have intended to attach something to your first post, there is nothing there. Thank you for including it.)

It can also make a difference how you are listening. Small computer speakers might accent some of the initial pluck sound. Which can sound a bit percussive. This is muse sounds which haven't changed since V4 came out.
