Writing music for kids, size issue
Hi I am writing up music to teach kids recorders. Is there any way I can set how many bars are on a line? Currently my score is more squished together than I'd like for teaching young kids, would like it as only 4 bars per line so it's nice and spread out for them.

Thank you so much. I haven't been using this program for long.
You might also want to play with the "Layout | Page settings | Staff Space" setting: it allows to consistently enlarge and reduce (almost) all score elements.
The default value of 1.76 mm is good as an average value, but for particular applications (like separate part vs. full score or, in your case, a specific kind of readers) another value might be more suitable.
