Hi Aliaksandr,
Can you elaborate your feature request a little more. A screenshot perhaps?

As a workaround, if you don't mind about playback, you could use two notes with slash noteheads, on a chord or two 64th. Then make invisible everything not needed.

Thank you. So I did. Just wanted to have a more useful way. And so it is playable.
If you actually want the slashes (which aren't really all that standard), then creating them in the way suggested would be the way to go. To get it to playback, though, you'd want to enter the notes normally then mark them invisible (and maybe reducing their spacing). The "R" keystroke command will repeat a selected section, so it should be quick & easy to enter the notes for playback. Personally, though, I'd just leave it that way - don't hide the real notes and don't add slashes.

Thank you.

Hello,
Is this still the way to go with MuseScore 3?
In the image attached, making the 2nd, 3rd and 4th group invisible is nice for printing, but clutter is still there while editing.
Are there alternatives?
Ideally, as the original poster, I'd like to insert signs (slashes or otherwise, my musical notation skills are very limited :) in place of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th groups of notes, which are taken into account by playback, mimicking the behaviour of the repeat measure sign.
Thank you!

Easiest way to show one thing and have something else for playback is to add another instrument for the playback, set it to invisible in Edit / Instruments.

In which case, what would you recommend to specify the repetition? Double slashes? "Sim." as staff text? Or is it "reserved" for full measures only?
Something else entirely?
Thank you!

That's kind of up to you. Personally, as someone who might be put in the position of reading this, I'd rather just see the notes written out. I know that the slashes to indicate repeated beats are sometimes used, but to me as a jazz musician it means something else entirely though (open for improvisation).

Thank you. I had a go at adding // as staff text and moving them on the staff lines, but wasn't happy with the result, so I just left it at that. Problem solved. :)
