Ability to tie to empty space.
As discussed in http://musescore.org/en/node/10417, I would like to have, as a feature, the ability to place a tie from a note anywhere, regardless of whether or not there is a second note to tie to.

Wath I want to do is tie a note to a note in the second volta
Maybe there should be a special set of instructions to tie to volta, but I don't like the idea of tying into empty space.

Someone else requested it two years ago (something similar here too) - maybe it can be put into the issue tracker.

The tie to empty space is for cases such as the "pyramid" described here: http://musescore.org/en/node/10417#comment-39350

It's also useful when using a second voice to indicate an accompaniment rhythm and the rhythm ends with a note and the "and" of four in pne measure but there is no particular rhythm in the next measure to make it worth continuing notating. See for example measure three of Triumph from the demo folder in 1.1
