[Mac] PDF export not working
Since the [Save As] command renders blank documents, I have had to rely on Mac OS's built-in [Save as PDF] print function. I recently got a new MacBook Pro with Lion, and the [Save as PDF] command does not work in MuseScore.
When I click [Print] in the PDF "Save" dialogue box, the dialogue box closes and nothing happens. (Normally a status bar will appear briefly, but this does not happen in MuseScore.) No PDF is created. There are no error messages.
I have verified the Save as PDF function is working in other apps, so it has to be something with MuseScore.

{Save As] is reported to work on Lion as far as I know. There is only one known issue with non standard paper size. What's your paper size in Layout -> Page settings?

I am using Letter (8.5x11).
But my greater issue is with the print dialogue not working. Exporting a PDF through the print dialogue has worked in the past regardless of paper size, and that is not even generating a file, blank or otherwise.
I have verified that PDF exporting from the print dialogue does work on Musescore 1.1 in Snow Leopard, so this bug is definitely specific to Lion.
I seem to be having the same problem on OS 10.6.8 with Musescore 1.1 (sorry, I am not a Mac expert yet and don't remember their code names). I cannot get the program to save to a PDF, print to a printer, or generate a preview. I click the appropriate button and nothing happens now, but it used to. I have referred to issue 5072, but that doesn't seem relevant and doesn't help.
I'm experimenting the same issue on 1.6.8 with Musescore 1.1 (4611).
File > Save as > PDF produces a blank PDF.
Print > Save as PDF brings up a dialog (to name the file) but does not actually produce the file.
Print > Preview closes the print dialog without producing the file.
Since I have Adobe Acrobat Pro, I tried the Automator subdialog Print > "Save as Adobe PDF" : nothing happens.
Notes :
I never managed to save to pdf or print to pdf with Musescore, even with 0.9.x.
I have looked up most of the other bugthreads but to some point, it seems to be system-related (most macs seem to PDF just fine with Musescore)
Other apps are creating pdfs with no problem.

I'm a MacBook Air user. The previous versions has problem saving as Letter size (only blank pages appear after saving as Letter size PDF), but no problem saving as A4.
Now, after I save it as PDF, I can't open it - it clashes and closes the Preview app of OS.
When I try to send it to myself as email attachment, it also clashes my browser (Chrome) when I try to upload it - what a strong bug we're having here!!!
I am using OS 10.4.11 (Tiger, right?) and having the problem where PDF export creates a blank document.
What I really don't understand is that it worked fine for several months, and then stopped working within the last few weeks. I updated from MuseScore 1.0 to 1.1 and the problem did not go away. I can't think of anything I did to create this problem.
Ah, wait! I changed the paper size from Letter to A4 and now it works. So there's that.
People here seem to be having different problems.
Could you try in the nightly builds to see if the problem still exists?
