Enharmonic simplification
Is there a way to perform an enharmonic simplification of a number of measures apart from editing individual notes?
For instance, I imported a score in A minor from MIDI that turned out to have a plethora of double sharps and unnecessary accidentals. I had to clean the notes by hand, a rather tedious and error-prone job (click on a note with a double sharp, hit the key and then the key to remove the double sharp).

You could try Notes -> Pitch spelling
selecting all and moving them all up or down and then back to the same place. THat may clear some of it up.

I did "select all notes", then used the DOWN key to lower the pitch of all selected notes down 2 (two!) semitones, and then went up 2 (two!) semitones by hitting the UP key twice. Works like a charm as now I only have naturals and sharps. Ideal for right top and the right hand side of the circle of fifths (e.g. D major, A minor).
Similarly, by first going up 2 semitones and then going down 2 semitones you end up with only naturals and flats. Interesting for the left half of the circle of fifths (e.g., C minor, F major).

Shouldn't Menu/Notes/Pitch Spell do the same thing?
