Enhance Note object in plugins to provide staccato, tenuto and fermata marks

I am writing a plugin to export note information and would like to know if a note has a staccator or tenuto
articulation. It would also be useful to know if a fermata symbol is attached.

Would it be possible to add methods, isStaccato, isTenuto, or alternatively provide a means to identify which articulations have been added to a note.

I realised that plugins only have access to a subset of score information, so I may have to follow an alternative path or using the MusicXML export of the score.
