Translation of Notes name plugin doesn't work ?
Hello,
The Notes name plugin is very useful in an educational use. I just translate it into french for francophones can get the names of the notes do, ré, mi rather than C, D, E.
But by reading the summary of the original plugin, it's written that the plugin is based on the language specified in the preferences of MuseScore or by default that of the system.
But I've never seen the plugin working like this behavior. Hence my question : is this feature doesn't work?
So I find that I have not translated this plugin for nothing :)
Someone knows more about it?
Thanks,
Sylvain

The translation of the latest version of that plugin indeed should translate the names, following the language setting of MuseScore, so should use the name names as visible I'm the status bar, when a note is selected. So do, re, mi in French.

Ok, thanks !
I've just checked the statut toolbar and the name of the selected notes are C5, D6... However, the language defined in Preferences is French (translation updated). Same problem with "system" in Preferences.
So, even the plugin makes a good translation, the problem seems to be with musescore itself...

Maybe update translation?

Update translation : done.
Same problem with nightly built : 3.0.0 67b189f
Maybe must I check in Transifex ?

Or maybe I'm wrong regarding status bar showing translated note names. The plug-in should though

In fact, It seems that the statut toolbar is not translated with the language settings.
So, I still doesn't understand why the plugin doesn't make the translation :(

It may not be the same string being used, status bar IIRC uses "C5" etc., the plugin uses "C". But I'm quite sure that all the Bx get translated into Hx in German.

Your plugin works great. The solution was in Transifex for french language, some characters wasn't translated correctly : 691-...
Thanks Jojo, and thanks to lasconic who indicate me the good strings...

In Transifex, some characters are not translated correctly. I've just modified one of these to test if the statut toolbar is updated, and then, if the plugin change his behavior.
