Chat and search in musescore
I'm not sure if anyone thought of this or not so forgive me if it's already been discussed. Though I think it would be nice to have the ability to chat from the musescore program. That way you can share your work with someone and they can help you work on it together. Perhaps that's just for someone like me, but it would certainly be nice. As for the search implementation it would be nice to have so I can find say the treble clef without clicking on clefs, though that is any easy one. But there are some that I get confused on and just click until I find what I'm looking for. Thanks. :)

You can hover with the mouse on the symbols contained in the palettes (eg, clefs): a tooltip appears and informs you.

I knew of that, however having a search for it would still be convenient. But that really isn't the same as search though.

BTW, about the chat, the forums sections "General discussion" and/or "Technology Preview" are the appropriate places for this, right?

I believe the OP means an open audio chat line so people can talk to each other as they work together.

Not necessarily audio per se, but a text chat more likely. I am not a fan of audio chat, though I do see that as a viable option. Perhaps I didn't explain it well enough. What I was thinking is that there should be the option from the Musescore program to have remote access, if that makes senses. Sort of like allowing a person from tech support access your computer remotely. Though it may be more of a risk that way. I hope that clarifies it better.
For the chat, I guess it's a lot easier to use a dedicated tool like Skype, Google Hangouts or if you want to go open source Jitsi https://meet.jit.si/

It definitely would be cool to have some user-interaction within the program. If an irc-like protocol were implemented using forum usernames, and even better allow a user to "send a request" to any selected user(s) to have a joint-session or at least allow a "viewing", this could possibly be a real winner if implemented properly.

As the development is basically volunteer, perhaps you or someone you know can contribute to developing this idea?
