Join Measure bug

I'm unsure how to fill this in the issue tracker, because I don't know what the function is meant to do (see topic ). Can someone help?

1. Open score .
2. Drag-select the fourth and fifth crotchets (the two Ds).
3. 'Join Measure'.
(Result: Tie Disappears.)
4. 'Play'.

Result: The fifth crotchet doesn't sound.

Using MuseScore 2.0 Nightly Build (5051) - Mac 10.6.8.
