OS: Fedora Linux 16
Musescore 1.1
Steps to reproduce:
1) Install and Run Musescore
2) The sample song sheet appears - click on any note
3) Try to push any button on the button bar (volume, play, restart)
Result: The buttons are all greyed out and cannot be pressed
Workaround:
1) Click Edit->Preferences->I/O
2) Uncheck ALSA, and check Portaudio
3) Restart Musescore

MuseScore 1.1 is now obsolete.
Please upgrade to 1.2
Version 1.1 is the most recent available version in Fedora.
See: http://musescore.org/en/node/15669
1.2 appears to be available here:-
https://admin.fedoraproject.org/pkgdb/applications/Musescore
That report was for a self-compiled version

No, it's not available anywhere. The site you mentioned leads to this dead link: http://ftp.riken.jp/Linux/fedora/development/rawhide/i386/os/Packages/ms...
