installation problem macos

I am running macos 10.5.8 and trying to install version 1.2. When I launch the app it quits with the following errors:

1.2 is for versions 10.6 and

Or to put it differently: there is no MuseScore 1.2 avaliable for MacOS 10.5 yet.
Whether it once will be, is yet to be detarmined...
