Create new score and change preferences causes crash David Bolton • Aug 17, 2009 - 05:21 Type Functional Severity S4 - Minor Status closed Project MuseScore Open or create two scores (so that you have two tabs open in MuseScore) Edit > Preferences > I/O Change Master Tuning to something other than 440 Hz Press OK MuseScore crashes (Tested using self-built r.2023, Windows XP) Reply Comments [DELETED] 3 • Aug 17, 2009 - 19:03 I cannot reproduce this. Valgrind memory checker also does not show any anomal behaviour. Maybe its windows specific. Reply David Bolton • Aug 17, 2009 - 21:48 It looks like it is actually related to newly created scores rather than tabs. Create a new score for violin Edit > Preferences > I/O Change the Master Tuning to a different number Press OK to close the preferences window MuseScore crashes. Reply [DELETED] 3 • Aug 18, 2009 - 17:37 Ok, i can reproduce the crash. It happens regardless of what you change in preferences. The crash occours deep in qt code and the bug is probably hard to find & fix.
