Lyrics – second verse.
When I enter a second verse of lyrics the hyphens between syllables end up half way (vertically) between the first and second verse lines of text, and if the first verse had a hyphen and the second verse a space then the first verse hyphen is replaced by the space. Is this a bug or might I be entering them wrongly, please?

Sorry, I tried to attach an image, rather than an example score.
I didn't seem to be able to add the second verse without pressing Enter for each note in turn, which surely can't be right.
I've just been trying with your example and find that I need to select the first note then press Ctrl+L to start the lyrics for the second verse. The instructions only mention pressing Enter to select the next lyric line, so the instructions fail to mention this.
Anyway, I see now how to do it, thanks.

No, I didn't use Ctrl+Enter but just the Enter key. I've attached a jpg file showing the sequence of screen prints.

I think I've solved the problem. It shouldn't be the Enter key, but the Carriage Return key! If I double click the first syllable and press Carriage Return I do indeed go down to the next line and the syllables and hyphens all remain on the second line as expected. On a British keyboard Carriage Return has a right angled arrow on it and is above the right hand shift key, whereas the Enter key (with 'Enter' printed on it) is at the bottom right of the number keypad. (I'm using a pc, NOT a Mac)

Outch! Yes, I meant the Return key and wasn't aware that the Enter key behaves differently!
Handbook amended accordingly...

Anyway, thanks for your attachment illustrating the different behavior of the two 'Enter' keys on the 'QWERTY' pc keyboard. At first, I didn't understand what you meant until you specifically mentioned the 'Enter' at the bottom right of the number keypad. I would think they both should behave the same.
I've always used the 'carriage return Enter' to drop to the next verse.
Most often, though, to add an additional verse: I click on a note, then Ctrl + L, and the lyric cursor will appear - underneath any existing verse(s).
