Bookmark Feature
Recently I was scrolling around in a large bigband arrangement and I felt very lost....
It would really be great if MuseScore could provide some larger-scale reference points based on the song sections (A,B,Bridge,C...).
These could be either manually selected by the writer or automatically detected. In the latter case, there could simply be another text element in the 'Add' menu which essentially is a duplicate of the existing 'Rehearsal Mark' just named 'Section Mark', which also makes rehearsing and reading much easier("start over from B").
This placement makes sense to me, however feel free to suggest another method of accessing the bookmarks.
What are your thoughts?

There have been several requests for this feature, but I'm not sure it ever made it into an official feature request.
One of these requests is here: http://musescore.org/en/node/18301
I will check the issue tracker and see whether it is there.

I am currently trying to play around and implement this in qtCreator, but I lack the experience. Can you point me to the ctrl+f location in the code?

Look at mscore/Action.cpp L1446, mscore/menus.cpp L1197 and/or mscore/scoreview.cpp L2602
