Soundfont silence
I've downloaded a percussion soundfont. it came in a .zip file and i unzipped it. i then put it in the "sounds" folder that's in the Resources folder. now, even after i selected it in the synthesizer and selected the sounds in the mixer, its totally silent. help!

Do you have a link to that soundfont you've installed? Did you extract it to the "soundfont" folder instead of the directory named "sounds" (see: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/soundfonts-and-sfz-files#install).

I don't see a soundfont folder. all i see is sounds folder.
If it is an SFZ file, make sure you have all the actual audio files as well - the SFZ file by itself doesn't have any sound to it.
Try redownloading it. Your problem could be a download error.
