While working with voltas for the first time, I figured how to do this successfully in Musescore 1.3. When loading the file to Musescore 2.0 the voltas look different: instead of being "closed" at both sides, they seem to have an "open ending". If the score is played back, Musescore 2.0 jumps rather randomly between the measures.

I have attached a sample score that I have found with a solved issue, which shows this behavior.

The playback isn't going to be meaningful no matter what - the score is not correct in the first place. You can't place two endings right in a row; there is nothing to tell the musician reading the score (or MuseScore) what to do when reaching the end of the first ending.

The missing end hooks are a real issue, though. There have been a number of related issues fixed over he past few months, looks like this is one that either slipped through the cracks or else broke as a result of one of the other fixes.

It seems end hooks in 1.3 scores are not honored, presumably because they are the default and the code is not accounting for that correctly. See #25245: Line property "Hook" not preserved on save/load for a related issue that was fixed.
