Please consider adding the ability to insert measures after a selected measure. As suggested in the above post, the default of "append measures" and "append one measure", when there is no selected measure would be the same as it is now, new measures are added to the end of the score. However, when a measure is selected, either append command would insert the new measure(s) after that measure. If more than one measure is selected, the append command would insert after the last measure of the selection. This would be ideal, for example, for inserting new measures before a time signature change. See post for more discussion.

I think it's a good idea, I'd get used to the change quickly enough I suspect. And do the same for horizontal frames. And in both cases, if the measure we are appending after has a layout break, the newly appended measure perhaps should "steal" it, so it ends up on the same system. At least when appending a single measure / frame.

And, for symmetry, the same should be done for Insert, insert before selected measure if one is selected, insert at beginning of score if not.
