Multimeasure rests number position is not saved with SAVE function

Let’s say, for instance, that we’ve got the situation of picture 1. Since the multi-measure rest number is above the measure, it conflicts with the text.
I want to move it below, which I can do with INSPECTOR changing the NUMBER POSITION value from -1.5 to 5 (see pic. 2 and 3).
The number is now below and I exit while saving. Unfortunately once I re-open the file the number is back above.

This is a recently-discovered issue with a pending fix, see https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/pull/7453.
Meanwhile, FWIW, I would personally recommend not making that adjustment in this case, it is much more likely to confuse players unnecessarily.
So a duplicate of #317163: Dashed volta lines come back as continuous after the score is saved.

I'm not sure I understand why it would confuse.
Attached picture shows that both, above and below, versions exist in ancient scores.
It seems to me that the horizontal line shape it's enough to define it as a multi-rest, isn't it?
In any case thanks for the advice.
