Pasting 2 measures on the last measure causes glitch (0.9.6 regression)

I think you guys know this, if I paste 8 measures on the last measure of a score, the UI gets all weird. Couldn't MuseScore automatically create the extra needed measures in case the user pastes more than the number of empty measures at the end? that would be cool.

If you select some of these notes after the end of the bar line and press Del then MuseScore hits 100% CPU and hangs. Here's the full instructions (starting from the beginning).

  1. Open promenade demo
  2. Select the last few measures
  3. Edit > Copy
  4. Select the last measure of the score
  5. Edit > Paste
  6. Select a group of the notes that appear after the last proper bar
  7. Press Del

    8. MuseScore hangs

    (Tested using r.2400 nightly, Windows XP)
