Decrease space just between 2 parts on the first line.
I've attached the score - there's just too much space between piano and viola on the first line. I tried selecting that line then shift/drag but it didn't work. Thanks.

There is no piano in your score. When I open the Edit>Instruments menu this is what I see:
5 x violin + 1 viola.
Did you attach the wrong score?

Yes. Apparently I saved the full score as the viola part. Luckily, I had it on another flash drive. Problem solved thanks to Marc. I appreciate your time. Thank you.
Click on the (lowest) text: "After piano into." and keep pressing the down arrow until that text moves closer to the bottom staff.
The extra space is there because you entered text above the bottom staff and then moved it really high above the staff, and MuseScore is dutifully creating room for it. Probably you meant to simply add it to the viola staff above it instead of adding to the bottom staff and then dragging it up.
