Staff Text issues in 4.0
In version 3.6. when you access the Staff Text a window opens for text editing. 4.0 does not.

Select the text, edit via Properties (F8).

Ironically (in MS4) some of the Text properties are hidden in Properties>Appearance and Properties> More. I thought MuseScore 4 would be better organized, more consolidated, with easier access to related properties.
What property are you looking for?

In 3.6 when you write text (ctrl-T) a text edit box automatically pops up so you can enhance and change the text. Not so in 4.0.

It is unfortunate that it isn't automatic but now you have to toggle to another tab.

I also had this problem( And in general, I always had difficulties with writing various academic papers when I was at university. But, fortunately, everything changed after I read Research Guide on an educational blog. As far as I understood, article and tips were written by professional writers and editors with many years of experience, therefore, such information has become very useful for me. I apply new skills every time I need to write another difficult essay or term paper.
Perhaps I've misunderstood.
Are you saying that after invoking a command to add a staff text object (for instance, from the app menu: Add>Text>Staff Text) the new staff text object fails to appear in the score?
