►SYSTEM Text crashing◄ Current ver. 4, Win 11
Adding a 2nd line of text [ENTER], moves the cursor appropriately within the box, but the program freezes when adding the first stroke of new text.
Uninstalled/reinstalled twice.
Ver 3 still works in this regard
Perhaps related — when trying to open MuseScore 4 from the All Apps menu, it opened Amazon on one occasion and opened Lightroom on another

•►Systemtext Ctrl+Shift-S◄• I don't see that you are trying to enter a second line of text in the same field. I can get one line in, but after I press ENTER to begin a second line (under the first) the first keystroke causes the crash.

Thanks for looking at this with me, Jojo.
I "reset factory" — same problem. Crashed out.
Opened Mu4 again. As it was opening, Photoshop opened on top of it. I haven't used PS in months.
I'd been opening the System text box from a palette panel, so I tried using the keyboard shortcut - getting the same freeze/working hourglass → forced closing of the program.
I'll be away from the computer for several hours after this.

What operating system? What keyboard style and language setting?
That Photoshop thing might be a hint.

As I mentioned initially, opening Mus4 caused my Amazon page to open once, and Lightroom to open the next time (that I opened Mus4)
uninstall/reinstall helps only in very rare cases, Help > Revert to factory settings much more often
