As far as I can tell, there is no longer a "Synthesiser" dialogue box. If, like me, you are looking for the sound font to use, it is "hidden" in the "Mixer", then click on EACH part "Sound" button to set the sound font for this part.
I hope there is a way to set up a default sound font, rather than having to set EACH part of EACH score (but so far, coming for ver. 2.3.2, I am finding ver. 4.1.1 rather confusing with a number of apparently counter-productive choices; I hope that, gaining familiarity with the new setup, I will improve my user experience).
