After hairpin to PPP, playback is bugged
In my song, the notation hairpins to triple-piano (PPP), then gets louder again at forte. however, when playing it back, the note stays at PPP.

That notation won't work in MU4. I know it looks like it should. How did you make it?

I don't know what OP did but you can make it in MuS 4.2.1 (and presumably previous versions).
It requires cheating a little bit :-) , but it does play properly.
