Stem direction of single drumset note ignored upon paste
1. Open attached score (produced in 1.3).
2. Click on a note.
3. 'Edit'>'Copy'.
4. Click on rest.
5. 'Edit'>'Paste'.
Expected result: Note pastes according to the stem direction setting in the drumset, if in the same voice (Up).
Actual result: Note pastes with the stem direction down.
Note: This is also reproducible in a 2.0 score.
Using MuseScore 2.0 Nightly Build 620c997 - Mac 10.7.5.

I think the stem direction algorithm for standard and tablature staves is being used here?
Probably so. Note the issue is only with copy of the individual *note*, not if you do a more normal copy of the *chord* - or more generally, *range* including that note (eg, something that causes the blue rectangle to appear). In that sense, this is essentuially the same basic issue as #5098: Notes not transposed when copied by notehead, but a different symptom. Worth keep both open, as if/when fixed, both symptoms probably need to be addressed individually.
This may even merit its own issue:
In the attached score (possibly produced in 1.3), these notes appear upstem in 1.3, but in the nightly build, even after reset, some are downstem - they, or an individual note, may have been copied/pasted.

SOme of those notes are set to "Up", others to "Auto". After reset, all are "auto" and hence down. Seems correct to me.
You're right about in the Inspector.
I'm wondering though - should drumset be the exception (not doing 'auto' upon reset) if you have set it to 'Up' in 'Edit Drumset...'?
Thanks!
Perhaps so. Feel free to file a seaprate minor issue (perhaps feature request) for this - "Reset should restore drum note stem direction to drumset default".
Done: #49151: Percussion: note stem direction should follow "Edit Drumset" setting
