Description
It is very hard to do simple things right now like insert and play pizz / arco
You have to select a note, create staff text, write the technique text with its according text type and then (the hardest thing) indicate what it suppose to do to museScore.
Y propose that for this common things that museScore can play, there should be a simple application like on [create] menu that do all this things automatically (like Finale does- Finale actually uses [expression] tool for dynamics, tempo and techniques).
The Instrument techniques could have "presets" for pizz. - arco - mute (trumpet) - and "new" where the user does all the steps above but only one time.
As I see it, the basic idea here is to have a customizable palette of staff / system text elements (saved as part of the document, I'd propose) that you can insert into your score without creating them anew every time. I might have the command "pizz" dozens of times throughout an orchestra score; why should I need to tell MuseScore every time what this means?
