Problem with midi

Hello. I have one problem. I have tried to open a midi file in musescore for windows svn 1300 and i have an error as it:

"Microsoft Visual c++ Runtime Library"

Program C:/.../bin/mscore.exe

This application has request the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

I attach the midi file. .

Reproduced with r1300 on win vista.

Could you perhaps mention what the original source/software was of the MIDI file? If not, no problem.

The bug is fixed in rev. 1318. The midi file had no time signature which is ok but mscore could not handle this.

Hi.

I have seen another problem with this midi when it is open with sibelius, with musescore and with original score pdf. When you open this midi with mscore, the fifth voice (posaune 2+3) has two voices. At the second measure of this voice, in mscore this voices are similar, but in the original pdf, are different.

I attach two images, from mscore and from original pdf, for better comprension.

I don't know if this problem is for this midi or is a generic problem in the program. I have been that there are difficulties for split voices. I think the program should recognize both voices with a distinct identity , to work with them independently.

Best regards
THANKS!!!

Mscores midi import is not especially clever. You are asking for something which is called "voice separation". This is not implemented yet. Its complicated and a topic for AI research.
