Checked on Windows XP, SVN branch 0.9.6 rev. 3103, but observed in older revisions too.

The max. value shown in the Tick field of the Object Inspector (for chords, measures, etc.) is 999,999; i.e. after 520 measure of 4/4, this value is useless (and wrong).

520 measures may may seems a lot, but there are already several scores posted which exceed this limit. At least twice as much (better, add a whole decimal digit) is required to cope with scores which can practically managed with current MuseScore.
