Accidental where 2 voices merge
I have a problem adding an accidental at a note where two voices merge.
If you look at attachment 2voices01 this is what I want. After having entered
the notes of voice 1 and placing the sharps in the last 16th note cluster, I
start entering the notes of voice 2. When arriving at that last cluster and entering
those two down-stem notes, the sharps change into flats.
Whatever I try I cannot change them into the required sharp again.
Can somebody help me in this matter please?

I've had problems, too, where multiple voices coincide on a pitch that requires an accidental. I know of a couple ways to deal with it (by separating the notes so that they no longer overlap):
1. You could enter the note of one of the voices an octave higher or lower than it will ultimately be placed. Add the accidental you need to it (or move it up or down a semitone), and then reposition it into the correct octave with CTRL+UP ARROW or CTRL+DOWN ARROW.
2. Alternatively, you could double-click on the note. You will then be in Edit mode for that note in one of the overlapping voices, and you can nudge it horizontally with the left or right arrow keys. Once you've moved it aside a comfortable distance, click out of Edit mode and apply the accidental so that the pitches of both voices match. Then double-click the note you moved and nudge it back where it belongs.
(If you end up with an extra accidental sign, you can make the outer one invisible.)

wow--after encountering the same issue, I found that if the pitch-coincident secondary voice note has a longer duration than the voice1 note, then the accidental disappears when the secondary voice note is entered. I also discovered that If the secondary note has equal or shorter duration, then the accidental remains. (I too found that the issue can be worked around by selecting the secondary voice note and dropping the accidental onto it.) There are also some other accidental discrepancies when using ctrl-up/ctrl-down to move the secondary note up/down by an octave. I think these deserve issues in the tracker -- I'll search and open as necessary.

I just wanted to point out that this saved me in multi-voice spots where one part has a rest while the other part has notes. The rest was pushed up into the note from the other part because it was sitting in the middle of the staff like it normally would, but you can double click on it and nudge it down to create a secondary rest line.
