Setup: trunk rev. 3514, Windows XP w/ SP3, Qt SDK 2010.04 (Qt Creator 2.0.0, Qt lib 4.7.0)

Steps:
1) This score has been created under 0.9.6.2.
2) Open it with trunk version.

Result:
With 0.9.6.2, the page number has been positioned in the top right corner with a 12pt font. With trunk, it is shown in the bottom right corner with a smaller font.

Expected result: the position and font size of the page number should be the same as in 0.9.6.2.

Thanks,

M.

Comments

In the trunk the page number has been replaced by a more generic header/footer text template. The default footer text template shows the page number.
The page number text styles are obsolete and should be removed.

Thanks for the reply.

I saw the new header/footer features and I greatly welcome them.

At the same time, I hoped some kind of measure should / would / could be taken to ensure some kind of backward compatibility with 0.9.6.x page number style(s). Is this not in order and/or is this going to be a known incompatibility? (in which case, maybe, the issue could be tagged as "wont' fix" or "by design")

I know conversion from one structure to another not isomorphic is not guaranteed and one manual change per score could be acceptable, if there are not going to be too many of them...!

Thanks,

M.
