mscore SVN (2 days ago) no save for mixer settings.
I've just tried an old and but reasonable SF2 that doesn't comply to normal SF specs for which instrument gets which patch number. (Squidfont.sf2 It's an orchestral instrument only sf2)
Each time i open mscore i have to manually reset instruments in the mixer to specify which instrument is selected for which staff.
Is this expected behaviour?

If you want to use MuseScore for normal work, you should not use the SVN but the last stable version. You can get a tarball on sourceforge and there is a couple of ebuilds there
I tried with 0.9.6.3 on windows and squid and I can't reproduce.
Mixer is indeed broken in trunk.

I'm not using it for normal work, so no hardship there.
