No need to shout!
The 'instrument' Handclap is in the list of instruments MuseScore offers. There is no sound for it though in a GM soundfont, it uses some sound from the drums.

I cannot find the handclaps in the drum parts in MuseScore. Does anyone know where I can find it. Thank you.

If you want the handclap to be a staff unto itself, then simply type "clap" into the search box in the instrument list when cnstructing your score or adding instruments.
If you mean you want to use hand clap within the context of a general drumset staff, you need to use the Edit Drumset command to add a definition for this. General MIDI specifies that hand clap is MIDI pitch 39, so that is the slot you would use. You just need to tell MuseScore - via that dialog - what staff line and noe head you wish to use.

Thanks for the advice Marc. It worked for me and I'm happy. Maybe you can assist me with another matter. When I have filled the MuseScore page with instruments and want to add more they do not appear. Can one only have a page full of instruments? Also, is there a way to hide some instrument that will still play, so that I can add more instruments? Thanking you in advance. Jerome

If you add more staves than can fit on a page, you either need smaller staves or a bigger page - simple as that. Both seeing are in Layout/ Page Settings.
Jojo, I believe it is a standard sound in the GM drumkit. Jerome, all you need to do is type "hand" into the search bar below the instrument selector (when setting up a new score, or after going to Edit > Instruments... in an existing score) to find it.
Hi, I have a problem. Can you please help me?
Musescore (2.0.3) was working perfectly when I closed the program. When I opened it later to carry on working, I noticed that the tools to insert notes and choose the type (whole, half, quarter etc) was missing. How can I get it back? Thank you.
Jerome

If you right click in the toolbar area, you'll see the options to turn on or off the various toolbars. You must have turned that one off inadvertently. Just right click and select it again from the pop up menu to turn it back on.
