importing a midi file from muse score to guitar pro
hi everyone ,
i am having problems importing and exporting midi files to and from "muse score" to "guitar pro"
am i alone in this problem .
i am attaching two files the 1st is a midi file exported from guitar pro .
when imported into muse score only the 1st beat of each bar is played back , even through four beats are displayed in the score (could the other 3 be ghost beats i.e note that don't actually contain midi data ?)
the 2nd file was made in muse score 0.9.6 when i try to import it into guitar pro, guitar pro doesent recognise any midi channels for the file , i am wondering if muse score save the files as midi file 0 or 1 files ??

MuseScore saves MIDI files as MIDI 1. I think Guitar pro can import and export MusicXML. If yes, it's often better to use MusicXML instead of MIDI. MusicXML has been designed for the exchange of score information. See File format
