1. Open attached score (produced in 2.0).
2. Click on the bar of tablature (selecting it).
3. 'Copy'.
4. Click on rest of standard stave.
5. 'Paste'.

Expected result:

Notes of tablature pasted on standard stave don't match (Expected result).png

(The song has a key signature of D major.)

Actual result: The notes in the standard stave sound in accordance with the tablature, but the notation does not match this, or what is in the expected result - the notes are wrongly mapped:

Voice 1: E/G tie (should be A tie), B (should be F♯).
Voice 2: G throughout (should be D).

Comments

As you can see:

With the first file "Electric Guitar", the "I" dialog. displays two standard staffs. I do not know why, I don't changing anything particular in my memory (to verify)

The pasting works well, even you reset the second staff standard to a full Tab staff.

With the second file, "Electric 8aofd79", "I" display is correct. And the pasting also.

So I do not quite understand. I drop this story! But, in all cases the pasting operation works with the expected result.

I preserve "Needs info", but there's something fishy, alas! ("anguille sous roche, hélas" in French!) I'm going to get this result, with a wrong result of the first A (-> E)

It has probably something to do with the order in which you do the operations. For example, if you first select a simple 6-str tab, then go to advanced style properties to be able to show the rests.

Clearly, this deserves further investigation (:

So, please, chen lung, thank you to precise with details the order of all the steps you made to obtain (and reproduce) the first wrong result :)

OK.

(Nightly 3b44bc1/ Windows 7)

1) Create new score for electric guitar standard staff

2) Select Staff1 -> Add staff -> change type for Tab 6str. full -> Next (2#, 4/4, two measures) -> Finish.

So:
1GE.jpg

3) Enter the numbers in tab staff

2Ge.jpg

4) Copy - Past the tab staff measure on the standard staff measure.
Result: correct

3GE.jpg

EDIT: the wrong result in comment #7 is my fault and due on the issue always active: http://musescore.org/fr/node/25867
I had entering the A first voice (tied) with overwriting 0 (mouse) + 5 (numeric kb). In this way, it does not work (:
