"italian-1.mscz" demo broken in r2781

• Feb 25, 2010 - 21:53

The demo score of "Italian Concerto" by Bach (italian-1.mscz) is very broken in r2781 at the latest, probably due to recent MuseScore file format changes. All clefs not at the beginning of a stave are misplaced downwards and the tempo is half of the expected.

An updated version which displays and plays mostly fine in r2781 is attached.

Thanks a lot, but I don't fully understand http://musescore.org/node/4708#comment-12529. As r2784 drops support for clef offset introduced in #4626: Mid-measure clef placed too close to note, collides with accidental, does it mean, clef positioning has become WONTFIX?

r2784 still allows editing clef position if a clef is not at the beginning of a staff. MuseScore saves clef offset values in XML, but doesn't honor them when the file is reloaded. Clef offset values get purged from the file when saving any further changes to the score.
