Instrument short names disappear

Probably related to the other bugs reported about instrument names.

With 2613, Ubuntu 9.10

Create new score from template.
Long and short names are present.
Save, and reopen: short names have disappeared.

I tried by pasting a shortname section in a file.....I saw the shortname when opening.....but disappeared in same circumstances.
