The portable version is provided by PortableApps. They are working on it. See http://portableapps.com/development/outdated No ETA yet.
Kae, on Windows, I use Cameyo. Cameyo can make any(?) Win program portable. Might be helpful for you until PortableApps gets Musescore ready.

The portable version on Softpedia is outdated (i.e. 1.3).
