Do you think it might be worth altering the UI slightly by putting "Voices" in front of the voice buttons? That would at least hint that there might be a "voices" section in the handbook, as well as giving an indication of what the buttons are for, without anyone having to hover over them. Of course it may be different in version 2.0.
