Representing a signal over a score

It might be something that seems far fetched, but in music research/analysis, I am sure a lot of people would appreciate this feature. It's also probably not defined in musicXML but I thought I'd throw it out there...

I would love to be able to draw signals/plots over a score. I currently do it with inscore, but it would be great if xml/musescore would support this:
