Two short lyric pieces

Over the last few days, I set myself the project of trying my hand at lyrical music.
I'm not sure that I've got it cracked, listening back I often feel that I have comprimised enjoyment to listen to for maintaining a lyrical plotline.
The first piece tells the story of Y Brenin (The King) and Yr Was (The Servant), where I have tried to create a feeling of opposition between the two instruments.
The second piece mostly shows both instruments working together, if incoherently.
