UNMENTIONABLE PLACES & PRELUDES should be about a dozen selections working on at same time as my album for children and much left hand music .Violin concerto will be my Elliot Carter and Alban Berg tribute.they have nothing to do with each other but thee orchestrations move me more than words can say.ELLIOT CARTER and the violin concerto of Esa Pekke Salonen as wellas Steve Mackey's violin concerto have inspired me to write several movements of my own.The end of Berg's lyric piece where the violins rise ever higher and higher questioningly is definite gonna be something I try.Glazunov,Berg violin concerto and Shostakovich and both Prokofiev have been my faves for a long timeSchonberg vn concerto still means little to me!.i hope that changes one day!!! Rochberg ,Dutilleux violin concerti GREAT!!!,Wuorinen&Helps piano con#2 is amazing.So much great music has been written in last 30 40 years.Rarely heard is a sad thing.Philip Glass& Tomas Ades get way too much attention.
