PRAIRIE &BLUES AMERICAN QUARTET.

This is me ina totally diffeent vein.Very homey sounding.I willhave to work hard to define this kind of music for myself.Parody is not my intention.I have never written a blues progression-its the easiest feeling thing around but how to make a serious quartet with motifs and series and the self-refernetial formal tropes of the 18th century masterHadyn.Its much harder writing music that does not repeat or use obvious motifs.This willbe fun too! But Im not really interested init until the stylistic vagaries began subverting thenselves.Im a rocjand roll guy .Hiphop is cool but cut out thetalk and just listen to the instrumental.! Ok so here goews.If we can all just get into the recital hall LIFE WOULD BE GRAND>
X was the best American band of the last 30 years.Rem &b-52's come next.Imagine writing a quartet where all four members dont like talking to each other and each talks only to himself oblivious .Andrew Toovey has done thisI love it.Schonberg's quartet's are his finest workor at least the only works of his besides the violin concerto that speak to me.Gurrelieder .
