Another attempt at making a every note in a scale held for one minute or more with a n old fashioned narrative beginning middle and perhaps a type of end. Charles Ives would have love this idea. It has been exploited most fully inBirtwhistle& Xenakis Pithopranta ,some later work of George Benjamin -both students of Olivier Messaien .See his Chronochromie and of course the famous Atmospheres of Gyorgy Ligeti and even more famous the Threnody for the Victims of Hiroshima by Pendereski.all this great mind -blowing creativity happened in the early 1960's . Ligeti's Naturis de sona and some other imporant work has been done in the atonal sound mesh world.
Surely ,recently the Spectralists TristanMurail,Gerard Grisey and others have really carved out N E W soundworlds . I 'm making rudimentary soundscapes myself fashioning old ideas without the requisite training &education-but ,oh what fun we are having and inmy world all can be taught by admiring and paying attention! Such Fun!!! -that is the only reason to do or try to do &make something.
