Mac "zoom in" shortcut incorrectly labeled?

Although "zoom out" is correctly labeled "cmd -" the keyboard shortcut for "zoom in" should say "shift cmd +" (Currently the "zoom in" label reads "cmd +" which doesn't work.) Has anyone else experienced this on their Macs? I don't think I've changed any internal settings on my Mac that would have affected this functionality.
