Ped notation in Grand staff

The symbol to apply and release the damper pedal should be able to snap to any note on either staff of a piano score. Currently it will only snap to notes on the lowest staff, or a bar line. For example open the Pictures at an Exhibition example, the bass clef has rests for the first two measures and after placing the Ped, holding shift+ left or right will move it to the next measure, next note in the treble. You can adjust it by just pushing the left and right arrows, but I'm confident that someone will want to interpret these markings soon, so it would be best to be able to adjust which notes they are attached to.
