svn version 10may2009 persistent segfault

OS is LINUX Gentoo 64bit.

Mscore version is as above. (It says 1730 on the about page.....)
Persistent Segfault when building a a fairly sizable score.
Can't include any strings at all, as they immediately crash the app.
No other info at this stage.........
Tired of testing for today.
